Nach dem Inventar von Warwick Castle, Warwickshire, aus dem Jahr 1853 wurde das Bureau Mazarin sehr wahrscheinlich durch George, den zweiten Earl of Warwick (1746−1816), oder seinen Sohn Henry Richard Greville, dritter Earl of Warwick (1779−1853), für Warwick Castle erworben; im Besitz der Earls of Warwick bis zum Verkauf durch die Trustees of the Warwick Castle Settlement, Christie’s, London, 20. Mai 1968, Los 81, beschrieben als ein »Louis XIV bureau Mazarin […] in the manner of A.C. Boulle and stamped I.
